I remember the first time I saw Eat Pray Love I was ready to google flights and pack my bags straight after the movie was finished. There are so many amazing and inspiring movies that awaken that little travel bug. I thought it would be great to make a list of them and then use it as a check list to re-watch them all over again… I mean what else are you meant to do when it’s the middle of summer, you are 6mths pregnant and still battling horrendous fatigue, nausea & migraines?
So, without further ado here are my top Top 18 Movies that inspire travel.

Some great movies in that list. I haven’t seen them all though so I shall seek some of those out. I have to say that I immediately scrolled up and down to see if you had Wild in there. As I read the book before I saw the film and that story is so inspirational and makes me want to take that kind of journey on.

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty is a great one to inspire travel, really made me want to go to Norway, Iceland etc
Excellent post – I haven’t seen a lot of those films, so going to watch some of them – One that I really want to see is Eat Pray Love – I’ve seen the DVD cover before and it intrigued me, so put it on a list to watch
